OUR POLICIES
Payments:
We accept several types of payments. These are the following:
Visa and Master Card (for North and South America, Germany, UK, Australia)
Completion of orders:
Our lead time for the completion of standard orders is 2 weeks if not stated otherwise. If the goods are instock, we ship the same day or next business day. All orders are shipped worldwide from 96 Sherbrook str, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B3, Canada.
Shipping couriers:
We ship with the most reliable courier services such as Federal Express and United Postal Services. Ebay orders are typically shipped by Canada Express Post which is known as USPS or EMS.
Taxes and duties:
We do not pay or cover taxes for any orders we ship internationally. Each customer is responsible for paying the corresponding taxes and duties when importing their orders through customs, for shipments worldwide. On all Canadian orders we charge GST, and if shipping within Manitoba - PST as well.
RETURNS:
All Medit Inc products come with a 1 year manufacturer's warranty, which covers factory defects.
We accept returns for refund within 14 days of the item being delivered. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are not refunded. Any customs and transportation charges are to be paid by the customer as well.Before a return is made, please call our toll free line at 1-800-2399934 and select option 3 to obtain a Return Authorization form with guidelines on how to return purchased product.
Returns Must Be Re-Packaged in the Original Shipping Materials and received in "like new" condition. The use of other packaging may result in additional charges.Instruments Must Be Received in "Like New" Condition. Instruments showing marks, such as scratches or dents, due to usage will have up to 50% of the refund deducted.
You are welcome to send back the goods for exchange or refund via the following courier services: US Postal Service (USPS), Canada Xpresspost, EMS or FedEx Express. All shipments sent via TNT, FedEx Ground or UPS will be denied and returned back to the sender.
If your order is a custom item, please note that it has been manufactured specifically for you; therefore, higher restocking fee must be applied. We do not carry these items in our stock, so once ordered, we cannot cancel or change custom items. If you must cancel your custom order for any reason, there will be a 40% restocking fee to process and remanufacture such items.
REPAIRS:
All products sold by MEDIT INC carry a 1 year Manufacturer's warranty against factory defects.
Refurbished or repaired products carry a 3 month Manufacturer's warranty against factory defects. Such products are either repaired free of charge or replaced with identical or better products.
Used products are not covered by a manufacturer's warranty and are sold as is.
All purchased products that have exceeded the 1 year Manufacturer's warranty are subject to repair and transportation charges.
We only repair products that have been purchased directly from MEDIT INC. If the product was purchased through a distributor, the repair should be arranged through them.
If you require repair services for your products, please contact one of our representatives, describe the problem and request an RMA form prior to shipping. Shipments sent without an RMA form and an RMA number printed visibly on a package, will be returned to the sender.
